Can Third-Party Payment Help Solve the Profession's Income Deficiencies?

Noon – 1:00 PM (MST)

Webinar Overview

This presentation looks at the origins of, need for, and types of pet health insurance policies, and the current companies offering products in small animal veterinary medicine. The webinar will also explain the evolution and changes in the attitudes and experiences of the human healthcare and dental professions toward indemnity insurance, HMOs, and PPOs.

The goals are twofold: first, for the veterinary profession to learn from the mistakes of these allied health providers and avoid them; and second, to understand how the success of third-party payers can help us overcome some of the revenue deficiencies hounding small animal veterinary practices.
