Colorado Pet Overpopulation Fund
CPOF was created by the State of Colorado to assist animal care and control organizations, veterinarians and local communities in underserved areas of the state address the problem of pet overpopulation. In 2004, donations from Colorado taxpayers to CPOF enabled community coalitions of veterinarians and animal care and control organizations in underserved areas of Colorado to perform more than 6,700 spay and neuter surgeries and educate pet owners about why these surgeries are essential in the ongoing struggle to control the overpopulation of dogs and cats in Colorado.

Fare for Fairs
The Fare for Fairs program was created by Colorado veterinarians to reward and recognize students who excel at showing their animals or conducting animal-related science projects at local or state fairs.
